Trained at the Boulle school (chiselling section) and at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, Patrice Dangel started his career at a famous foundry, then specialized in the restoration of art objects. He rubbed shoulders with dealers and prestigious objects which naturally led him in the 80s to imagine his own creations. He collaborates with internationally renowned decorators for whom he creates exclusive pieces. He is exhibiting his work at the gallery du Passage of Pierre Passebon. Through the years he created an exclusive collection for Alexandre Biaggi. Every day, Patrice Dangel, wearing a blacksmith’s apron and a welder’s goggle, sculpts lights and furniture, shaping plaster and bronze.
