Patrice DANGEL

Trained at the Boulle school (chiselling section) and at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, Patrice Dangel started his career at a famous foundry, then specialized in the restoration of art objects. He rubbed shoulders with dealers and prestigious objects which naturally led him in the 80s to imagine his own creations. He presented for the rst time at the Galerie du Passage de Pierre Passebon and was met the decorator Jacques Grange with whom he began working. Later, he collaborates with the Alexandre Biaggi gallery as well as international decorators on various projects. Every day, Patrice Dangel, wearing a blacksmith’s apron and a welder’s goggle, sculpts lights and furniture, shaping plaster and bronze.
